Essex Fells, NJ – In Revolutionary days, part of a large area bought from the Leni Lenape Indians called Horseneck Tract, Essex Fells today is a tiny, elegant “bedroom community” of about 2,000 residents living in 700 homes ranging from exquisite high-end vintage to new construction, nearly all considered luxury homes. Most are situated on beautiful, deep, rangy and very private properties set along graceful, winding roads. At the edges of the town, on both Bloomfield and Eagle Rock Avenues, there are buses to NYC. Town residents rely on shopping options in nearby Livingston, Montclair, Verona, and The Caldwells. At the western edge of town is the pretty Grover Cleveland Park.
